ClearWaste is a trading name of Tidy Up Ltd (Company No. 14294404), registered at Unit 5 Catherine Court, Manor Lane, Hawarden, Deeside, CH5 3NU. Tidy Up Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can email us about privacy or call 01244 722 664.
What we collect and why
When you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, details of the waste you'd like collected, and any photos you choose to send. We use this solely to prepare your quote, arrange and carry out your collection, and keep the records we're legally required to hold (such as waste transfer notes). Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and legal obligation for waste documentation. If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we process the contact details and information you provide for the same purposes.
Who processes it
Our website forms are operated by Netlify, which processes submissions on our behalf and passes them to us. We don't sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing. Information is shared only where needed to deliver the service (for example, waste transfer documentation with licensed disposal facilities) or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting job. Waste transfer notes must be retained for at least two years under waste regulations. We delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
